SharpMedic uses specialized flat-hone equipment and a careful, controlled process to restore the cutting edge while respecting the original geometry of the shear.

HOW MAIL-IN WORKS
Mailing your shears shouldn't be complicated. Start your order, securely ship your shears to Sharp Medic, and we'll take care of the sharpening and tracked return.
01 – Start & Ship
Start your mail-in order, then securely pack your shears and send them to Sharp Medic using a tracked shipping service.
02 – Sharpen & Test
Each shear is inspected, professionally sharpened according to its edge geometry, adjusted and performance tested.
03 – Pay & Return
We'll contact you before any unexpected repair that affects the price. After payment, your shears are securely returned with tracking.
PROFESSIONAL SHEAR PRICING
Sharpening includes inspection, edge restoration, finishing, appropriate adjustment and performance testing. Major damage, tip reconstruction or extensive restoration will be quoted before additional work is performed.

Mail-in sharpening uses our regular professional shear pricing. Shipping costs are separate, and your shears are returned using a tracked shipping service.
Shipping to Sharp Medic
Pack your shears securely and send them to Sharp Medic using a tracked shipping service. You arrange and pay for shipping to us.
Return Shipping
Sharp Medic arranges tracked return shipping. The cost is calculated based on your destination and added to your final invoice.
Turnaround Time
Sharpening is typically completed within 1–3 business days after your shears arrive. Shipping time is additional.
